La del Finde

At LEAST once a month we get a “purist” client coming in and insisting that “he was born wearing a tie”, “he wears a suit even on the weekend” or that “he wouldn’t wear a pair of jeans in his life”. We firmly believe that there’s no such thing as a “trve” style for menswear. An elegant man is open to try new things and to wearing up or down.

SARTELIER

The truth is that we LOVE jeans. It’s not even a tailoring thing! There’s actually a subculture of bespoke-loving gentlemen who will go to great lengths to get their hands on some of the finest denim in the world. The love for the humble pair of jeans is as strong as ever.

 SARTELIER

We won’t go into much detail about the jeans,we actually recommend you look into the denim subject on your own and you check some of the Japanese and American boutique brands that are creating artisanal pieces of the highest quality.

This full look is called “La del Finde”, and we decided so gentlemen can feel more comfortable wearing a jacket with a pair of jeans.

 SARTELIER

-The Jacket – A Light fully-deconstructed jacket made from a soft silk/wool cloth from Soria in a rich wine-red color. The pockets are our take on the classic “pignata” patch pockets from the Italians and a wide notch lapel.

-The Shirt – Made from an dobby-weave Alumo fabric  in light blueish tones, with a slightly wide collar and regular cut on the cuffs.

-The Tie – Made by hand from virgin wool on the atelier from our Regio bothers up north, Hnos&Co specially for us.

-The Tie Clip – Made under request for us in Taxco by the Uribe family. Master jewelers for like a gazillion generations. It has a little chain in the back to put in the buttonhole of the shirt in order to keep the tie in place.

-The Shoes – Made on request specially for us by L’Corviser in the beautiful state of Guanajuato, using the finest calf leather we could find. The design is a classic Double-Monk in a deep tobacco color.

-The Pocket Square – Made and hand rolled by us using an old scrap of fine irish linen from Scabal.
